PARTY FAQ’s

Thank you for choosing The Playground for Kids! To ensure your party runs smoothly, please review the information below.


General Information

  • Arrival: Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your start time. We ask that your guests do not arrive early for the convenience of other parties.
  • Check-In: All guests must check in at the front desk to verify waivers and socks.
  • Timing: Please be courteous and end your party on schedule. Your assistant will help keep things on track.
  • Payment: Deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due at the end of the party. We do not accept checks.
  • Tipping: Gratuities for your party assistant are not required but are always appreciated. They can be paid in cash or added to your bill at checkout.

Waivers & Play Rules

  • Waivers: All children must have a signed waiver to play. These can be filled out online or via a printed paper version.
  • Socks: Socks are required for all participants. We sell them for $2.50 at the front desk if a guest forgets theirs.
  • Age Limits: Play is for children ages 12 and under. Adults are welcome to attend for free but may not play on the equipment. Parents may assist children under age 3 by crawling through, but no jumping or standing is allowed.

What to Expect (Private Parties)

  • The Rotation: Parties move in three 40-minute rotations: two play areas and one private party room.
  • Party Assistant: Your assistant handles the flow of the party, decorates your room, serves food, and cleans up.
  • Special Features: Includes a group photo opportunity, bubbles during the final transition, and the birthday throne!

Food & Drink

  • Provided Items: We provide plates, napkins, forks, and one cup of lemonade per child.
  • Outside Food: You may bring cake, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, and water bottles. No other outside food/drink is permitted without pre-approval.
  • Ordering: Our concession stand is closed for private parties. Additional food or pitchers must be pre-ordered via your confirmation email link.
  • Safety: No food or drink is allowed in play areas (except water). Please do not bring themed cups without lids to avoid spills.

Decorations & Gifts

  • Allowed Decor: Tablecloths, pre-inflated balloons, and banners are welcome. Decorations must be light enough to hang with masking tape.
  • Prohibited: No confetti, glitter, push pins, or other fasteners.
  • Candles: We provide lighters, but we do not provide candles—please bring your own!
  • Gifts: Please label gifts clearly (To/From). We provide a designated bin for your child’s gifts upon arrival.
  • Room Layout: Each room has two 8-foot picnic tables for seating, two 6-foot tables for food/gifts, and one 4-foot table for dessert.
